





Zachary Cleland is a Resident in Counseling in Virginia. He provides crisis counseling for youth and adults, helping clients process emotions and build coping skills for the challenges they face.
Drawn to talk therapy, Zach uses empathy, unconditional positive regard, and genuineness to support clients in addressing their concerns. He also integrates Motivational Interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), brief therapy techniques, and trauma‑informed care.
Zach earned his Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Emory & Henry University in 2025. He is passionate about creating supportive environments that empower individuals to advocate for themselves, manage their mental health, and engage meaningfully with their community.
