




Marissa Smitton is a Supervisee in Social Work with more than 12 years of experience providing therapeutic support to adults, adolescents, and children. Marissa earned a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Walden University and has practiced a range of modalities, including trauma-informed care, CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and strengths-based approaches.
Marissa helps clients process thoughts and emotions, develop individualized goals, and work toward those goals at the client’s own pace. Throughout their career, Marissa has had the privilege of supporting clients with diverse identities and proudly practices cultural competence both personally and professionally.
