The Room We’re Building

Third Space’s core values describe how we work, support our providers, and serve our patients. For patients, we’re a place to be honest without consequence. For providers, we’re the years that made them. For our team, we’re the company they’d have built themselves.
Find Your Third Space
Integrity
Do the right thing when no one is watching.
In a company built around serving vulnerable people on Medicaid, integrity isn't a differentiator – it's a floor. It means the work you do at 4pm on a Friday is the same quality as the work you do Tuesday morning. It means you tell the truth in a difficult meeting. You don't optimize for how things look. You optimize for what's real.
Ownership
Put your name on it.
You own outcomes, not tasks. When something goes wrong, you raise your hand first. When something goes well, you document what worked so the team can repeat it. You don't wait to be asked before taking on more. This is a small company doing serious work – there are no gaps someone else will fill.
Agency
Don't wait for the brief.
You work out what's next, roll up your sleeves, and start building. You launch, then optimize – not the other way around. If you see a problem, you move toward it. You bring a proposed solution when you raise an issue. We hire people who make the surface area of this company larger, not smaller. Unleash your Founder Mode and ask yourself “What would I do if I had 10x more agency?”
Compassion
Show up for the person, not just the task.
The patients we serve are navigating some of the hardest moments of their lives. The providers we work with are dedicating their careers to helping them. That context doesn't disappear when you're writing a cold email or building a dashboard. You carry it with you. Every decision this company makes touches a human being – act accordingly.
Craft
How you do anything is how you do everything.
The quality of your work is not determined by who's watching or how visible the task is. A well-written internal memo matters. A clean handoff matters. A thoughtful marketing copy matters. We are building something that will outlast any individual contribution – and the standard for that kind of work is always high.
0–0
The game is still open.
In football (soccer), a nil-nil scoreline means nothing has been decided. No one is winning; no one is losing. The best competitors treat every match this way – not coasting on a good run, not spiraling after a bad one. At Third Space, we bring the same present-focus to everything: a strong quarter doesn't mean we ease up, and a hard week doesn't mean the mission is broken. The score is always 0–0. Play accordingly.
On Delusional Optimism
We believe things that aren't yet true. We think Medicaid patients deserve world-class behavioral healthcare, that technology can make that scalable, and that a small team of committed people can change how a broken system works. Some call that delusional. We call it the starting point. Be optimistic to the point of delusion.
