Frequently Asked Questions

Who will provide my therapy sessions?

After signing up, we'll pair you with a therapist who aligns with your goals, preferences, and specific issues. Since therapists have varying approaches and specializations, finding the right match for the best results is crucial. We usually succeed in making suitable matches, but if you feel your therapist isn't the right fit, you can request to be matched with a different therapist.

What qualifications do the therapists have?

Our therapists are highly trained professionals with the necessary education, experience, and credentials to provide quality care. Every therapist at Third Space meets rigorous standards to ensure compassionate, evidence-based support for our clients.

How much do I have to pay?

We accept several insurance plans, including Medicaid. Please check with your insurer for specific details about co-pays.

Is my confidentiality maintained by my therapist?

All therapists are licensed by their respective licensing boards after completing the required education, exams, training, and practice. This ensures that when you engage with a licensed therapist online, they adhere to the same mandated reporting and confidentiality requirements as in-office therapy, according to their governing board and state laws.

Generally, therapists will maintain the confidentiality of what you share, with a few exceptions. For instance, if you express intentions of serious harm to yourself or an identifiable victim, the therapist is obligated to report this to the relevant authorities. If you have any concerns or questions about these legal confidentiality obligations, please discuss them with your therapist before starting therapy.
