







Oscar Machado-Galaviz is a Social Worker Candidate with experience providing therapeutic and case management support to children, adolescents, families, and survivors of domestic violence. He earned his Master of Social Work from Indiana University and has practiced in office, telehealth, and community-based settings.
Oscar’s background includes targeted case management, trauma-informed care, and advocacy within social service and legal systems. He is fluent in English and Spanish and is committed to culturally responsive care for diverse and underserved communities. Drawing from person-centered therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, psychoeducation, and play therapy, he focuses on building resilience, strengthening relationships, and empowering clients to reach their goals.
He is passionate about creating a safe, collaborative space where clients feel heard and supported. Oscar meets clients where they are, fosters self-determination, and integrates evidence-based strategies with compassion and cultural awareness to support lasting change.
