







Kristin Thompson is a Licensed Professional Counselor who also provides clinical supervision for counselors working toward full licensure. She earned her Master’s degree in Counseling Education from Adams State University and her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State University.
Kristin’s counseling approach is rooted in authentic connection and a solution-focused framework. She supports clients in navigating life’s challenges and complex circumstances by fostering insight, self-reflection, and growth. Through this process, she helps clients identify barriers and recognize their own capacity for change.
Her clinical work includes guiding clients in exploring thought patterns, core values, self-acceptance, attachment styles, and strengths. She has specific expertise in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, family systems, divorce, co-parenting, boundary setting, self-worth, and cognitive distortions.
Above all, Kristin believes the therapeutic relationship is the foundation of effective counseling. She is dedicated to holding space for clients in a way that ensures they feel understood, validated, and supported. With authenticity and compassion, she tailors treatment to meet each client’s unique needs and goals.
