Consuela "Ella" Galvan is a Licensed Social Worker and therapist who supports adults navigating stroke recovery, neurodivergence, anxiety, and major life transitions. She earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Denver and her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
Before becoming a therapist, Consuela worked in information technology, where she developed strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Her path into this work was also shaped by personal experience: after surviving a stroke, she developed a deep interest in brain health, recovery, and the emotional toll that neurological changes can take on everyday life.
Many of her clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, or unsure of their next steps after significant shifts in their health or circumstances. Consuela takes a compassionate, strengths-based approach, helping clients build practical structure and meaningful goals so that life feels more manageable.
She believes therapy should be a collaborative process – one where clients feel truly understood, supported, and empowered to move forward.
