Amma Bigbi is a Resident in Counseling with three years of experience providing therapeutic support to children and adolescents facing a range of emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in 2023, where she gained a strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
Amma is deeply committed to trauma-informed care and has completed extensive training to support young clients who have experienced adverse life events. She integrates a range of therapeutic modalities in her work, with a particular emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). These approaches allow her to help children develop healthier thinking patterns, regulate emotions, and build practical coping strategies.
